  1. Identify the part of speech in the gap: noun, verb or adjective
  2. Look at the words on either side of the gap, and decide what part of speech they are.
    1. What type of word follows a noun?
    2. What type of word follows an adjective?
    3. What follows verbs?
  3. If you have words to choose from, decide:
    1. What the word means. Does it fit the meaning of the sentence?
    2. Is it the right part of speech?
      There are many types of tea in the world today and their varieties are a result of how much 1 ________ the particular raw tea leaf has gone through.
