Mindset for IELTS - Level 1 (Unit 02: Places And Buildings)


In Part 1 of the Speaking test the examiner will ask you questions about familiar everyday topics such as your home town. To answer the questions you might need to use a ranged tenses.

Read the questions on the examiner's card. Then match them with the verb tenses. 
It is important to listen very carefully to the questions the examiner asks you. This will help you to decide how to for my our answer and what tense to use. One thing you can do is repeat or 'echo' the examiner's question to help you do this, but don't do this too often! 

1. Where did you grow up?

2. Is it a good place to live?

3. Do you think it has changed a lot? How?
